Billy Bolt sidelined for 2026 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo due to hand injury

Recovery remains the priority as Bolt focuses on return to full fitness

MATTIGHOFEN, AUSTRIA – June 4, 2026 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt will not compete at the 2026 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo as he continues his recovery from a hand injury sustained prior to round two of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, Extreme XL Lagares.

Despite the injury, Bolt battled through the pain to secure a hard-fought fifth-place finish in Portugal. However, the decision was made to sit out this year’s Erzbergrodeo in order to prioritise his long-term recovery and return to full fitness.

While unable to race, Billy will still attend the event in Austria to support the Husqvarna Factory Racing team before returning to the Red Bull Athlete Performance Centre next week to continue his rehabilitation programme.

The seven-time world champion remains focused on returning to Hard Enduro World Championship competition as soon as possible.
